Vorobyeva Olga, MD, pathologist, PhD. The head of nephropathology and difficult pathology diagnosis in National Center for Clinical Pathological Diagnostics in St. Petersburg (Russia). She is an active member of International Society of Nephrology (2004), Russian Dialysis Society (2005), Renal Pathology Society (2016), American Society of Nephrology (2017). She had long-term postgraduate internship in kidney pathology at university clinics of USA, Great Britain and short-term – in Netherlands and Switzerland. Olga Vorobyeva is an author of 29 publications including 13 in international journals. PhD thesis was dedicated to problem “Pathological characteristic of non-amyloid deposition of monoclonal immunoglobulins in kidneys”. The area of scientific interests is monoclonal gammopathy of renal significance, complement associated kidney disease, focal-segmental glomerulosclerosis, IgA-nephropathy.
